The death toll in the Gaza Strip has surpassed 62,000
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported that in the last 24 hours, additional residents of Gaza were killed or injured, raising the total number of deaths and injuries since the beginning of the war to 62,004 and 156,230, respectively.
According to Al Jazeera, the ministry reported that 60 new fatalities and 344 injuries were transferred to hospitals in Gaza in the past 24 hours.
Local sources also stated that an unspecified number of citizens remain trapped under the rubble, and rescue teams are unable to reach them due to intense bombing.
Statistics indicate that since March 18, 2025, 10,460 people have been killed and 44,189 injured.
Regarding casualties referred to as “Bread Crumbs” (people waiting for food or aid), 27 were killed and 281 injured in the past 24 hours, bringing the total deaths in this category to 1,965 and injuries to 14,701.
Additionally, five people (including two children) died from malnutrition in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of malnutrition-related deaths to 263, including 112 children.
