Yemeni missile attack on occupied territories
According to the Israeli military, the missile launched from Yemen was detected, and air defense systems were activated to intercept it.
The Israeli Home Front Command confirmed that warning sirens went off in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and several central cities in the occupied territories.
Israel’s Channel 12 reported that following the missile strike, the airspace over the occupied territories—as well as Ben Gurion Airport—was shut down.
Some media outlets stated that as a result of the ballistic missile launch, warning sirens were activated in 270 locations across the occupied territories, including Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
The Israeli army claimed it tracked and intercepted the missile launched from Yemen.
Hebrew-language sources noted that since approximately five months ago—when Israel resumed its war on Gaza after violating the ceasefire—around 70 missiles have been fired from Yemen toward the occupied territories.
