Italy declares readiness to sanction the Zionist regime
According to the French news agency, Guido Crosetto, Italy’s Defense Minister, said in an interview published today (Monday): “What is happening is unacceptable. We are not facing a military operation with collateral damage, but a complete denial of law and the fundamental values of our civilization.”
He added, “We are committed to humanitarian aid, but now we must find a way to force Netanyahu to think wisely beyond mere condemnation.”
In response to a question about possible international sanctions against the Zionist regime, the Italian minister noted that “the occupation of Gaza and serious actions in the West Bank represent a qualitative leap, which requires decisions that compel Netanyahu to reconsider.”
Crosetto emphasized that this would not be an action against Israel itself but rather a way to save the people from a government that has lost reason and humanity.
These remarks came after Benjamin Netanyahu defended his plan for the complete occupation of Gaza City and targeting remaining Hamas positions—a plan that has faced widespread criticism around the world.
