Video shows security prisoners entering Ward 7 of Evin Prison
According to the Judiciary’s Media Center, on Monday, Tir 2, 1404 (June 23, 2025), the Zionist regime, in a blatant crime and in violation of international law, struck Evin Prison with projectiles, killing dozens and injuring many others.
Immediately after this brutal attack on Evin, judicial authorities took measures to safeguard the health and security of inmates, facilitating urgent contact between prisoners and their families to ease concerns. Prisoners were transferred to the Greater Tehran Prison.
With the direct orders of the Judiciary Chief, the round-the-clock efforts of the Prisons Organization, the Judiciary’s Protection and Intelligence Center, the Tehran Prosecutor’s Office, and the oversight of the High Council for Human Rights, the debris left from the Zionist regime’s attack was cleared in less than a month and a half, and a new facility was prepared for the prisoners’ accommodation.
During the transfer of inmates from the Greater Tehran Prison back to Evin, media outlets affiliated with the Zionist regime and certain associates on social media claimed that several prisoners had been severely beaten during the move; that one man’s forehead was split open, another had smeared his blood on his face while shouting slogans, that conditions were dire, and that several were injured and receiving treatment at the prison clinic.
This falsehood quickly spread with the support of anti-revolutionary media.
Even some prisoners’ lawyers, family members, and domestic news sources — not linked to hostile groups — unwittingly fell into the trap of this fabricated story.
By midday yesterday, photographs emerged showing some security prisoners boarding a bus to Evin without any visible injuries, incidents, or signs of assault.
Today, for the first time, footage from August 7, 2025 (Mordad 17, 1404) has been released showing the moment several security prisoners entered Ward 7 of Evin Prison.
Based on this documented video, the prisoners — about whom false news had been circulated — are seen entering Ward 7 without any signs of beating or injury. Those specifically mentioned in the false reports arrive together with other inmates, at the same time, and without visiting the infirmary, directly entering their assigned location in apparent good health.
