Majority of Israelis want an end to the war
A new poll shows that over 70% of residents in the occupied territories support a comprehensive agreement for a prisoner exchange with Palestinian resistance groups and an end to the war in the Gaza Strip — a result that contradicts recent claims by the Israeli Prime Minister about the lack of public support for such an agreement.

According to the results of the poll conducted by Israel’s Channel 13, 71.6% of residents in the occupied territories support a comprehensive deal to end the war on Gaza and secure the return of all Israeli prisoners held there.
According to Al Jazeera, these findings were released in response to comments made earlier this week by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who claimed that polls regarding prisoner exchanges were fabricated and misleading.
In this poll, only 13.4% of respondents said they support continuing the war without any agreement, while 5.9% favored a partial agreement.
