Major General Mousavi: If the enemy dares to launch another aggression, it will face even more crushing blows than before

Major General Seyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, during his visit to the country's Air Defense Headquarters, paid tribute to the esteemed martyrs of the Sacred Defense during the 12-day imposed war, honored their respected families, and expressed appreciation for the wounded and disabled veterans. He also thanked all the air defense personnel for their efforts.
On the sidelines of reviewing and analyzing the operations during the 12-day imposed war and the current state of readiness, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces stated: "The Air Defense Force, standing on the front lines of defending the country’s skies, has proven that it can withstand any level of threat and will make the enemies of the Iranian nation regret their miscalculations."
Major General Mousavi further added: "Bringing down enemy aircraft in such numbers and scale demonstrates the capability, determination, and bravery of the valiant men of the Air Defense Force — a feat that will remain recorded in the historical memory of the Iranian nation."
He emphasized: "This determination, capability, resilience, and courage stem from unwavering faith, national pride, the unparalleled, wise, and intelligent leadership of the Commander-in-Chief (may God protect him), national unity, and the wholehearted and unwavering support of the people, as well as from the media and academic, political, cultural, artistic, sports, and social communities."
Highlighting the necessity of constantly updating and restructuring defense systems, fostering creativity, adopting new tactics and techniques, and innovating in line with enemy threats, he stressed the need for operational agility and the use of scientific capacities and indigenous technologies. He said: "If the enemy dares to once again threaten our beloved country Iran, with God’s help, it will face more crushing blows than before and will suffer an even greater defeat."
At the beginning of the visit, Brigadier General Sabahifard presented a report on the current capabilities and readiness of the Air Defense Force, measures taken to enhance readiness after the cessation of hostilities, and various innovations and creative achievements in the field of air defense.
