Iran’s power erased France’s red line
The President of France has held a phone call with the President of Russia for the first time in three years since the start of the war in Ukraine. Euronews reported:
“Trump’s decision to bomb Iran’s nuclear facilities without consulting other global powers effectively broke the European Union leaders’ three-year boycott of the Russian president following the outbreak of the Ukraine war. Macron, in his call with Putin, discussed both Iran and Ukraine. It appears the two leaders found some common ground on Iran, though their disagreement over Ukraine remains unresolved.”
The situation is clear: France—until now unwilling to even host a ceasefire negotiation table between Russia and Ukraine, citing so-called "national-European pride"—has been forced to turn to the Kremlin due to its inability to contain Iran’s power and regional influence against the Western network.
Contrary to Euronews' narrative, the U.S. and Israeli attack on Iran’s sovereign soil did not occur without intelligence and operational cooperation from European actors. More and more evidence is emerging that exposes this shameless collusion. What’s key to analyzing France and other European powers' current behavior is this phrase: “Inability to manage a self-inflicted crisis.”
The French—who have acted as foot soldiers in the White House and Tel Aviv's maximum pressure strategy against Iran—now face the collapse of the cost-benefit balance of their interventionist stance. This imbalance has tilted against the West, as verified by American and European intelligence reports showing that Iran’s nuclear infrastructure has not been destroyed.
In other words, the Western and Zionist actors have incurred enormous costs from their attack on Iran while achieving little to no strategic gain. This has stripped the Washington-Tel Aviv-Brussels triangle of its crisis management capabilities and has left Macron and other Western leaders floundering.
Faced with the mounting cost of failure in their confrontation with Iran, Macron has now crossed a once-bold red line of French diplomacy—refusing to negotiate with the Kremlin after the Ukraine war began. This shift is a testament to Iran’s unmatched ability to disrupt the strategic calculations of its sworn enemies.
