Baghaei: Francesca Albanese faces bullying for standing against apartheid
The Foreign Ministry spokesperson, in a message supporting the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories, who has recently been targeted by U.S. sanctions, emphasized that the truth cannot be suppressed by sanctions.

Esmaeil Baghaei, the Foreign Ministry spokesperson, wrote in a post on X: "The truth cannot be suppressed by sanctions; Ms. Francesca Albanese, the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories, is being sanctioned and bullied for speaking the truth and standing against genocide, occupation, and apartheid."
The spokesperson of the diplomatic apparatus continued: "Meanwhile, Netanyahu, a war criminal wanted by the International Criminal Court, is welcomed in Washington."
Baghaei emphasized: "You are displaying blatant and absolute hypocrisy, and the world is watching."
