Smotrich: General Soleimani built a ring of fire around Israel

On Monday, Bezalel Smotrich, the Finance Minister of the Israeli regime, admitted to an intelligence failure in dealing with the Yemeni armed forces.

While the Yemeni army continues its operations against Israeli military and economic targets deep inside the occupied territories—despite the regime's aggressive attacks—Smotrich stated: "We didn’t know the Houthis (Yemeni army) were building ballistic missiles with ranges up to 2,000 kilometers in their large underground facilities."

He added: "We thought the Houthis were merely an arm of Iran directed only against Saudi Arabia."

Smotrich’s claim comes despite Iran’s repeated assertion that it has no proxy forces in the region, emphasizing instead that the only proxy in West Asia is the Israeli regime itself, which acts on behalf of the United States in carrying out terrorist operations.

Smotrich further said: "Qassem Soleimani built a ring of fire around Israel, and we were unaware of his plan to destroy our country."
