Zionist Regime’s military admits to the death of a soldier in northern Gaza

According to Al Jazeera, the Israeli military admitted that Sergeant Ya’ir Eliyahu from the Combat Engineering Corps was killed during battles with Palestinian Islamic Resistance fighters in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
Earlier this week, on Wednesday (July 2, 2025), Israeli media reported the death of another soldier from the “Egoz” unit after a tank was destroyed in a combined operation by resistance fighters in Gaza.
This Friday morning, Zionist regime media also reported a heavy blow dealt to Israeli forces by Palestinian resistance in the northwestern area of Khan Younis, southern Gaza.
The Zionist newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that last month (June), the Israeli army suffered its highest number of casualties in Gaza so far this year.
The same outlet had previously reported that 20 Israeli officers and soldiers were killed in June, 15 of whom died on June 24 during battles in Khan Younis.
