Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, on the sidelines of a cabinet meeting, Eslami stated: “The nuclear industry cannot be wiped out with bombardment.”
He added: “What was done in Iran was a blow to the United Nations Charter. It showed that the law of the jungle prevails in today’s world. If you don’t have power, you cannot survive. The Iranian people understand this well and have stood firm.”
Eslami stressed that Iran’s nuclear capabilities are homegrown and deeply embedded in the fabric of the nation: “It is not something that can be erased by an airstrike. It is part of our land, part of our people. The path to progress remains open and firm.”
