Crisis in France’s air travel

According to France 24, the French Civil Aviation Authority has requested airlines to cut 25% of flights at Paris airports starting tomorrow, as part of precautionary measures against strikes by air traffic control staff.
Flights in other parts of the country will face even stricter reductions. The agency announced the following cuts:
- 50% reduction in flights from Nice, Bastia, and Calvi
- 30% reduction from Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier, Ajaccio, and Figari
Despite these measures, the agency warned of major disruptions and delays at airports across the country, urging passengers to reschedule their flights if possible.
The strikes coincide with the start of France’s summer vacation season, raising fears of a severe air travel crisis in the coming days.
