A powerful Iran's great lesson to its enemies

During the height of the recent war, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran delivered a historic and meaningful message to the Iranian nation. While praising the dignified, courageous, and timely conduct of the people, he emphasized: “The Iranian nation stands firmly against imposed war, just as it will firmly stand against imposed peace, and this nation will never surrender to imposition by anyone.”
The Supreme Leader’s remarks regarding both imposed war and imposed peace—and their shared essence—reflect the power and grandeur of a nation, a system, and a land that has never bowed to oppression and arrogance and has consistently humbled its enemies. Several key points must be noted in this regard:
Iran: A Symbol of Resistance
The extraordinary resilience of Iran and the crumbling positions of the Zionist enemy in various parts of the occupied territories once again exposed the Islamic Republic of Iran as the foremost symbol of defiance against its adversaries.
Since the Islamic Revolution, and especially in today’s critical and decisive moment, Iran has become the model of active resistance against the sworn enemies of humanity and Islam. It stands as a steadfast banner in the storm of time and crises.
The “Truthful Promise 3” operation was a full expression of this resilience and dynamism, and each passing day of the war against the loathsome Zionist regime further embedded this symbol in the consciousness of billions around the world.
Iranian missiles today go beyond Tel Aviv and Haifa—they have struck at the heart of the appeasement discourse against injustice and global arrogance. Ultimately, they have forced both Washington and Tel Aviv to acknowledge defeat before a “Powerful Iran.” Resistance is the very soul of this powerful nation.
The heart of resistance has always beat in the face of tyranny—from early Islam and the uprising of Karbala to the Islamic Revolution, the imposed war (Iran-Iraq war), and now the confrontation with the Zionist regime. This enduring pulse has drowned the front of falsehood in endless crises and denied it dominance over the front of truth.
Though appearing different, both “imposed war” and “imposed peace” serve the same function. Enemies have persistently sought to replace the discourse of resistance among Muslim and freedom-loving nations with a framework of submission. This desperate effort stems from their fundamental misunderstanding of the essence of resistance and its deep roots in the beliefs and operational values of its followers.
Justice: The eternal core of resistance
Justice has always been the foundation for divine struggles and authentic uprisings throughout history. The establishment of the Zionist regime in the mid-20th century was, from the outset, a blatant declaration of war against justice. Today, the resistance front and Islamic Iran are the torchbearers of this lost justice. Justice resonates with the innate nature of humankind and finds expression through the conscience of awakened peoples.
Today, each flame igniting in the occupied territories is a manifestation of this awakened justice. In the dead nights of Tel Aviv and Haifa, it shines like a beacon, illuminating the path toward the demise of the enemies of humanity and truth. The method of resistance is now understood more clearly than ever, and the myth of the invincibility of Zionism and the U.S. has been relegated to history. One of the outcomes of the recent war is the increased global awareness and confidence in standing up to the Zionist enemy.
Iran’s national and spiritual power
This recent divine triumph cannot be analyzed without recognizing the national and spiritual foundations of Iran’s strength. National and spiritual power play crucial roles in defining a country’s global standing.
Iran, with its ancient and rich history and culture, has long been a key regional and international actor. This cultural depth, when fused with Islamic teachings and the values of the Prophet and the Imams, has birthed an unmatched current of resistance. The enemies have never been able to grasp the scale or implications of this spiritual-national fusion.
This was proven again during the 12-day sacred defense against the Zionist and American onslaught. Iran’s national strength is evidenced by its military, economic, and cultural capabilities. Iran boasts a formidable military and the ability to defend itself. Its missile operations deep within the occupied territories showcased this prideful power to the world.
The truth behind enemy smiles and frowns
Another message grasped by the international community from the recent war is the duplicitous nature of Western diplomacy—especially that of the U.S. and the EU. Today, the global public is more aware than ever of the truth behind “imposed peace,” “imposed war,” and the fake diplomacy of the West.
The Supreme Leader’s recent statement clearly outlined how to confront enemies who smile at the negotiation table while sharpening the blades of war and sanctions behind the scenes. Before the Zionist regime’s attack, the dream of a submissive Iran was shared by Washington and Tel Aviv. But after witnessing Iran’s military and cognitive dominance, this dream has turned into a nightmare for the child-killing criminals in the White House and the occupied lands.
This duplicity encompasses the entire West. Even the majority public opposition in Europe to their governments’ stance during the Gaza genocide and Lebanon war failed to awaken European officials to human rights.
Germany, Britain, and France shamelessly support the criminal Zionist regime and its U.S. backers. Their audacity knows no bounds: German Chancellor Friedrich Merz brazenly praised Israel’s attacks on Iran and the assassination of Iranian commanders, even justifying America’s strike on Fordow nuclear facilities.
While nations across West Asia to Latin America condemned the U.S. aggression, the expected condemnations from Britain, France, Germany, or the EU’s foreign policy chief never materialized. Instead, they hypocritically urged Iran to “return to diplomacy.”
Iran’s lesson to the west
Iran never fell for Washington and the EU’s worn-out political games. It focused solely on delivering a strong, comprehensive response to the Zionist regime. Before the war, Europe’s mission was to covertly pressure Iran into unilateral commitments without lifting sanctions. Now, Europe has discarded the mask of diplomacy and overtly entered the battlefield—both overtly and covertly—against Iran.
Relying on the tactic of “buying time” under the umbrella of “maximum pressure” and hollow structures like INSTEX or SPV, Europe hoped to help contain Iran. Yet Iran’s insistence on its nuclear rights led to both Europe and America losing in this equation.
European leaders have repeatedly stated that they would not jeopardize their ties with Washington over the JCPOA. But today, the story is different. Chancellor Friedrich Merz shamelessly praised Israeli attacks on Iran as a “dirty job” carried out on behalf of Europe. French President Emmanuel Macron has also repeatedly contacted Iranian officials, demanding the inclusion of Western concerns—missile, nuclear, and regional—into any potential agreement. He rebrands the idea of “disarming Iran” as “supporting diplomacy,” hoping to distract global attention from the West’s outrageous demands.
In the end, following the "Besharat-e Fath" (Herald of Victory) operation and Iranian missiles striking the American Al-Udeid base, Europe tasted defeat alongside its American and Zionist masters.
The price the enemy must pay
The greatest shared flaw of the Zionist regime, Europe, and the U.S. is their failure to realistically assess the costs and benefits of their foreign policies—especially their total confrontation with a powerful Iran. This miscalculation is evident in their approach to the war in Ukraine, their support for Netanyahu’s genocidal policies in Palestine, and their attack on Lebanese soil.
Now, applying the same flawed reasoning, they have engaged in direct conflict with Tehran—foolishly thinking they can “contain” Iran. But the Islamic Republic delivered the biggest shock imaginable to the West and the occupying regime.
Undoubtedly, Iran will not only challenge the enemy’s calculations regarding itself and the region—it will render them powerless and defeated actors in the international system. The enemies of a “Powerful Iran” will only realize their defeat when it is already too late to recover.
