Russia Today and Associated Press report on damages to Evin Prison

On Sunday, June 29, foreign media correspondents visited sections of Evin Prison that had been targeted in a terrorist attack by the Zionist regime.
During the visit, journalists toured buildings within the Evin detention complex and the Shahid Moqaddas courthouse, which had sustained severe damage due to projectiles fired by the Zionist regime.
Russia Today, one of the international media outlets present at Evin Prison, released exclusive footage showing the destruction inflicted on prison buildings, including the visitation hall.
In the video, RT's correspondent described Evin as one of Iran’s most significant prisons located in Tehran and noted, “These images show the extent of the destruction.”
He stated: “An Israeli missile struck the entrance of Evin Prison, and Israel also targeted the prison’s main walls, which are now under repair.”
The RT correspondent added that administrative buildings were also hit, noting: “The attack resulted in the deaths of over 70 individuals, including staff and soldiers. Family members of inmates who were present at the time were also targeted. The prison’s visitation hall was directly hit.”
The Associated Press, another international outlet presents at the site, also published exclusive video footage of the damages to Evin’s buildings, including the visitation area.
According to the spokesperson for Iran’s Judiciary, unfortunately, as of now, 79 people, including prison staff, inmate families, Evin’s residential neighbors, and some prisoners, have been martyred, and several others have been wounded.
