Lindsey Graham’s project to save Trump!

The established position of U.S. intelligence and official institutions (particularly the Pentagon) is that the Fordow nuclear facility was not completely destroyed in the recent American strikes, and the damaged infrastructure can potentially be restored. Even the Senate hearing failed to convince observers of the effectiveness of the strike carried out by Trump, Rubio, and Hegseth.
Amid all this, we are once again witnessing the entrance of an extremist senator onto the scene—someone for whom Trump is a red line: Lindsey Graham.
Regarding the recent military attacks on Iran's nuclear sites, the Republican senator stated:
"The nuclear program at those three sites was destroyed. I don’t know where the 900 pounds of highly enriched uranium is being stored, but it wasn’t part of the target. However, the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program may be rebuilt, and the real question isn’t whether we destroyed their facilities or not!"
Decoding Graham’s remarks reveals that even he himself is not fully convinced—after the Senate hearing—that the three major nuclear sites in Iran were actually destroyed. His statements are riddled with contradictions: he first claims the destruction of all three sites, only to later walk it back and present it as a vague, uncertain assertion.
Even more telling is Graham’s complete lack of information regarding Iran’s enriched uranium stockpiles (especially those enriched to 60%). This alone shows that no one from Trump’s Department of Defense or Department of Energy was able to adequately address this crucial question during the Senate hearing!
As is evident, Graham and other die-hard pro-Trump senators are now desperately trying to rescue Trump from a crisis he created himself. Trump paid the political and strategic cost of attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities—but has failed to deliver any meaningful gains. This is the lost balance that neither Trump himself nor his defenders in the U.S. are able to justify.
Graham’s comments can be seen as a reflection of Trump and Marco Rubio’s confused and disoriented mindset. They merely know that a heavy operation was carried out in Iran (particularly targeting Fordow and Natanz), but they have little understanding of its actual consequences and outcomes. However, the environmental and ground-level impact of the strikes clearly shows a significant gap between what U.S. officials claim—especially regarding Fordow—and the reality on the ground.
It is certain that filling this gap is far beyond the capacity of warmongering, unstable figures like Lindsey Graham, Tom Cotton, and Ted Cruz.
