Americans do not support Trump’s war against Iran

The American think tank wrote: “The U.S./Israel war against Iran has provided new and abundant evidence of widespread opposition to war within the United States.”
The report added: “Despite the current fragile ceasefire, several nationwide polls show that Trump’s attack on Iran was broadly unpopular across the United States.”
According to the analysis, surveys conducted before and immediately after Trump’s strikes on Iran revealed strong opposition to U.S. involvement in Israel’s war — even among Trump’s core supporters.
A YouGov poll conducted after the bombings showed a striking result: 85% of Americans said they did not want the country to go to war with Iran, while only 5% supported it. The same poll indicated that the number of those who opposed Trump’s strikes far outweighed those who supported them.
A Reuters/Ipsos poll also showed a significant gap: 45% opposed the bombing, while 36% supported it. A CNN poll revealed an even greater divide: 56% opposed vs. 44% in favor, marking a 12-point difference.
According to the data, about 20% more Americans expressed dissatisfaction than satisfaction with how Trump handled relations with Iran. A similar gap existed between those who believed the strikes would decrease U.S. security versus those who believed they would increase it.
