Martyrdom of 935 people in the Zionist Regime’s attacks

The press conference of Asghar Jahangir, the spokesperson for the Judiciary, was held today with the presence of journalists from various media outlets.
At the beginning of the press conference, the Judiciary spokesperson stated: “The fake and temporary Zionist regime made a grave and historic mistake in its attack on Iran, as the wise Leader of the Islamic Revolution stated. This regime has doomed itself with this act and will pay the price for its crime. The objectives pursued by this illegitimate regime in its attack on Iran failed, and a historic and evident defeat was recorded for this regime.”
Jahangir continued: “International organizations and human rights institutions, as always, were condemned and disgraced in the eyes of free nations because they easily overlooked these aggressions and supported those who violated international law and norms.”
The Judiciary spokesperson added: “Iran’s valiant armed forces delivered a firm and decisive response to the Zionist regime’s aggression. The fact that criminal America entered the scene of this war stemmed from the desperation, helplessness, and defeat that engulfed the fake regime. Of course, America also realized that any aggression against Iran’s soil would not go unanswered and would receive a response.”
He stated: “The whole world witnessed this imposed war, and everyone saw that the illegitimate Zionist regime initiated this aggression. Everyone saw that Iran was attacked in the midst of negotiations, that Iran exercised its legitimate defense, and stood firmly on the battlefield. Everyone saw that neither the American nor the Zionist regime adhered to any international laws, committing historic crimes by violating all international red lines and attacking Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities, despite Iran being a member of the NPT.”
The Judiciary spokesperson emphasized: “Iran has maintained its readiness, and as our brave commanders have stated, our hands are on the trigger, and we are vigilant to deliver a necessary and proportionate response to the enemy in the harshest manner in case of any potential aggression.”
Jahangir noted: “Several turning points are evident in this aggression. First, the enemy aimed to provoke people to take to the streets, believing that the Islamic Republic’s social capital was declining and that it could achieve its desired outcome through chaos and sedition. However, the Iranian people, with exemplary and historic unity, dealt a severe blow to the enemy, creating a grand and historic epic with unprecedented cohesion. They demonstrated as a united 90-million-strong nation that Islamic Iran and the Islamic Republic are inseparable, and Iran’s Islamic culture has deep historical roots. In critical moments, with the unity established among the nation, they can bring any enemy to its knees.”
He continued: “The second point was the millions-strong funeral procession for the martyrs of authority on Saturday. This event proved that the Iranian people fear nothing and submit only to the will of their Lord. The enemies failed to understand the depth of this nation. This nation proved it has reached a historical, political, and moral maturity and has grown at the heart of history.”
Judiciary’s actions following the Zionist Regime’s attack on Iran
The Judiciary spokesperson said: “Immediately after the enemy’s attack, the Judiciary, with strength and speed, took to the field and, based on the legal duties outlined by the Head of the Judiciary, took significant measures against traitors, mercenaries, and betrayers to ensure the people’s security. The enemy attempted to use its network of adversaries to carry out actions that would jeopardize societal security through sabotage and conspiracies to tilt the situation in its favor. However, with the measures taken by the Head of the Judiciary, such conditions were not allowed to materialize, and swift actions were put in place.”
He added: “Instructions were immediately issued to establish special courts across the country to handle cases of traitors and mercenaries. Monitoring cyberspace and addressing accounts collaborating with the enemy were prioritized. Continuous coordination with law enforcement and identifying the enemy’s scenarios and conspiracies were put into action. What was particularly gratifying in these difficult circumstances was the people’s presence on the scene. The people provided substantial information to the Judiciary and law enforcement at that very moment, leading to the swift identification and arrest of many infiltrators and individuals attempting to act in the enemy’s favor.”
He noted: “Another point worth mentioning is that while the Zionist regime attacked Iran, it mobilized a network of collaborators within the country and tried to create a media frenzy against us through anti-revolutionary media, but this plot failed, and the network was quickly identified. These were individuals who, disregarding all legal considerations, sought to advance the interests of the Zionist regime.”
He added: “Through cyberspace monitoring, a project we can describe as a disgraceful human rights smear campaign, which aimed to falsely claim that we were unjustly targeting people, went nowhere. Those involved were arrested, and cases were filed against them. Through the information disseminated, we prevented these enemies of the homeland and humanity from portraying themselves as human rights defenders or creating a narrative of victimhood to claim that human rights are being ignored in Iran.”
Pursuing the crimes of the U.S. and the Zionist Regime against Iran in international forums
Jahangir said: “Did the so-called human rights institutions not see a terrorist and criminal regime attacking prisoners’ families, women, and children, massacring them? Why did they not raise their voices or form a fact-finding committee or request to send delegations to investigate the evidence? As part of its legal duty, Islamic Iran will pursue this criminal act by the Zionist regime in international forums.”
He added: “Today, the Head of the Judiciary issued instructions to the Attorney General’s Office and the Judiciary’s International Affairs Department to collaborate with the Vice Presidency for Legal Affairs and relevant institutions to pursue the crimes committed by the U.S. and the Zionist regime against Iran over the past 12 days.”
Martyrdom of 79 people in the Zionist Regime’s attack on Evin prison
The Judiciary spokesperson stated: “From the first day, the Judiciary implemented special measures regarding prisoners. From the onset of the war, under the instructions and follow-up of the Head of the Judiciary, all eligible individuals whose presence in society posed no danger and needed to be with their families were granted leave through a directive. During the attack on Evin Prison, immediate action was taken to transfer prisoners to a safe location, and arrangements were made for them to communicate with their families to alleviate their concerns.”
He continued: “Although the situation was difficult, and some staff and citizens were trapped under rubble in the prison, efforts were made to minimize harm to prisoners. Unfortunately, so far, 79 individuals, including visitors, prisoners’ families, prison administrative staff, residents of the Evin neighborhood, and prisoners, have attained the lofty status of martyrdom, with several others injured.”
The Judiciary spokesperson added: “According to the latest forensic statistics, 935 martyrs have been identified so far, including 38 children and 102 women, some of whom were pregnant, among the martyrs.”
