Over 41,000 compensation claims in Israel following war with Iran

The Israeli economic website Calcalist revealed in a report that, as a result of the recent war with Iran, the number of compensation claims submitted so far has reached 41,550.
Calcalist added that, according to the latest data, the majority of damages were related to buildings, with 32,975 cases of direct damage to homes and facilities recorded. In addition to compensation claims for damage to 4,119 vehicles, 4,456 cases of damage to household appliances and other equipment were also registered.
According to initial estimates, the direct cost of damages has exceeded 5 billion shekels (approximately $1.5 billion), while thousands of compensation claims are still under review or in the process of being submitted.
Meanwhile, the number of settlers evacuated from their homes due to destruction has reached nearly 18,000.
According to Zionist officials, relevant institutions are assessing further damages, and the volume of claims is expected to increase in the coming weeks.
