International journalists visit Evin Prison

On Sunday, June 29, foreign journalists visited the areas of Evin Prison that had been targeted in a terrorist attack by the Zionist regime.
Journalists from several international outlets including Reuters, Associated Press, Russia Today (RT Arabic), Al Arabi, Al Jazeera, CCTV, and Anadolu Agency were present during the visit.
During the tour, journalists visited buildings within the Evin detention complex and the Shahid Moqaddas Prosecutor's Office that had sustained significant damage from the Zionist regime’s projectiles.
The administrative building, hospital, prosecutor’s office, and the family visitation area — where most of the casualties occurred during the attack — were among the main stops for the international journalists.
Several prison officials and staff who were present during the Zionist regime’s terrorist attack accompanied the journalists, providing firsthand accounts and explanations.
It is noteworthy that on Monday, June 24, 2025, the Zionist regime launched a terrorist projectile attack targeting Evin Prison.
According to official figures, 71 people were martyred in the attack carried out by the Zionist criminal gang. The victims included prison administrative staff, conscripted soldiers, inmates, family members who were visiting or handling legal matters, and local residents living near the prison.
According to the spokesperson for Iran’s Judiciary, on the day of the attack, many families had come to Evin for visitation or to follow up on legal proceedings. Unfortunately, the designated hall was struck, resulting in multiple injuries and martyrdoms among those present.
Among the victims of this terrorist attack was Judge Ali Ghenatkar, a courageous and devoted official, who served as the Deputy Prosecutor of Tehran and Head of the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office of District 33 (Evin).
