Global media coverage of the funeral ceremony for the Martyrs of Authority

The sacred bodies of the martyrs from the Zionist regime’s aggression against Iran and the 12-day imposed Holy Defense were laid to rest in Tehran on Saturday, June 28.
The ceremony, held from the entrance of Tehran University to Azadi Square, was extensively covered by global media outlets.
Al-Mayadeen Network, while providing live coverage of the funeral procession, wrote: "Iran bids farewell to the martyrs of Israel’s aggression, a farewell that marks a new chapter of deterrence and resistance."
In its report, Al-Mayadeen noted that one of the IRGC commanders emphasized that the funeral ceremony for the martyrs is part of the "True Promise 3" operation.
Al Jazeera Network also provided live coverage of the funeral ceremony for the Martyrs of Authority.
The Times of Israel reported: "A large number of Iranians took to the streets."
Haaretz also noted that a significant number of Iranians participated in the funeral procession for the Martyrs of Authority.
The French news Channel 5 reported on the ceremony under the title "National Funeral in Iran for the Victims of the Israel War," announcing the official start of the "martyrs’ commemoration ceremony" with widespread public participation in Tehran.
The French newspaper La Croix, citing a report from AFP, referred to the event as a "national funeral ceremony," stating that it is taking place along the 11-kilometer route from Enghelab Square to Azadi Square with the presence of Iran’s President, Masoud Pezeshkian.
The French-language news network BFMTV, which had been covering events moment-by-moment during Iran’s imposed war, reported on the ceremony under the title "National Funeral in Tehran for Commanders and Scientists Killed in the Conflict," describing it as a "historic" event with the participation of the public and officials.
The French newspaper Le Parisien and the news website Ouest-France also reported on the start of the "national funeral ceremony for the victims of the imposed war" by the Zionist regime against Iran, republishing the AFP report.
CNN provided a visual report covering the funeral ceremony of prominent martyrs from Israel’s attack on Iran. The outlet published a photo, noting that people were reaching out toward the coffin of Hossein Salami, the IRGC commander.
Associated Press (AP), in a detailed report republished by many global media outlets, accompanied by a photo of people carrying Iranian flags next to a truck bearing the bodies of recent martyrs, wrote that thousands mourned the Iranian military commanders and scientists who lost their lives in Israel’s attacks.
