Zionist Regime faces historic casualties and economic blow from Iran war

Channel 12 of Israeli television reported that 29 Israelis were killed and 872 were injured in Iran's missile attacks on occupied territories. The report also stated that 31,000 buildings were damaged and 4,000 vehicles destroyed.
The Israeli regime is known for concealing the true extent of its casualties and damages, often publishing figures significantly lower than the reality.
Previously, the Israeli economic newspaper Globes reported that the property damage resulting from the war with Iran had reached 5 billion shekels, calling it an unprecedented figure in the history of Israeli wars—double the damages caused by the war in Gaza, which totaled 2.7 billion shekels.
Zionist media have also reported that in the aftermath of the Iran-Israel war, 40,000 compensation claims have been filed by Israeli citizens, and the number is expected to reach 50,000.
According to these reports, the war has inflicted unprecedented direct damages on key sites, particularly the Weizmann Institute of Science—a central hub of Israel’s military intelligence—and the Bazan oil refinery in Haifa. Total damages from these attacks are estimated at 5 billion dollars.
On Tuesday, Isaac Herzog, president of the Zionist regime, acknowledged the heavy toll the war with Iran had exacted on Israel, especially after early morning Iranian strikes on Be’er Sheva in southern occupied lands and the imposition of a ceasefire. He stated that Tel Aviv has paid a heavy price in blood.
Amir Dahan, head of the Israeli Tax Authority’s Compensation Fund, had earlier confirmed the heavy damage from the war with Iran, noting that in just one week, losses had doubled compared to those from the Gaza conflict.
Dahan said: “We are now dealing with 50,000 requests for compensation related to the Iranian attacks on Israeli territories. In the Gaza war, we paid 2.5 billion shekels in damages; in the war with Iran, we’ve already reached 4.5 billion shekels, and the total will likely hit 5 billion shekels—twice as much as Gaza, in just one week.”
He added: “The scale of destruction is clear from the number of buildings completely demolished. Since October 7, 2023, only one building in Haifa had been destroyed, whereas now more than 25 buildings have been reduced to rubble.”
