Message from the Head of the Judiciary following the Zionist Regime’s crime in the attack on Evin Prison

According to the Judiciary’s Media Center, Mohseni Ejei issued a message condemning the savage attack by the Zionist aggressors on Evin Prison. The full text of the message is as follows:
In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
Yesterday, the wicked and aggressive hand of the criminal Zionist regime, having failed to confront the armed forces of Islamic Iran and to achieve its sinister goals, reached toward the capital of the Islamic Republic. In an action that blatantly violates peremptory norms and international conventions, the Evin detention facility was targeted by the Zionist aggressors.
Regrettably, as a result of this barbaric assault by the criminal Zionists, a number of dedicated and selfless staff and officials of Evin Prison and Branch 33 of Tehran’s Prosecutor’s Office, as well as some family members of prisoners who had come to visit, attained the great honor of martyrdom. Several prisoners were also injured, and their medical treatment was immediately pursued with urgency.
I extend my heartfelt congratulations and condolences to the noble families of the martyred staff and to each and every one of their colleagues and comrades.
We pray that all martyrs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially the most recent ones, will be our intercessors on the Day of Judgment.
I strongly condemn this savage Zionist attack on Evin Prison and emphasize the urgent need to pursue this crime in the relevant international forums.
In conclusion, as a humble servant of the proud and revolutionary Iranian nation, I wish to address all rightful claimants and private plaintiffs—those whose complaints have resulted in individuals being imprisoned—and sincerely ask them, if they deem it possible and appropriate, to withdraw their complaints. This act of compassion would allow these prisoners the opportunity to return to their families in these trying times. Undoubtedly, by doing so, these plaintiffs will secure great reward and divine blessing, while also bringing joy to the families of the inmates.
Certainly, the released prisoners must make every effort after their freedom to compensate the plaintiffs and fulfill any outstanding debts or obligations they owe.
