Judiciary spokesman provides updates on cases involving agents of the Zionist Regime

Asghar Jahangir, Judiciary spokesman, stated: In one of the provinces, thanks to timely action by the country’s intelligence and security forces, a terrorist cell was discovered where five individuals were preparing for terrorist operations in Tehran. Four of the terrorists were arrested during the operation, and one committed suicide at the time of his arrest.
He added: A virtual meeting was held within the Judiciary, chaired by the First Deputy Chief of the Judiciary and attended by heads of provincial justice departments from across the country. During this meeting, judicial and supervisory directives issued by the Judiciary Chief were conveyed to the provincial heads.
In the judicial sector, it was decided that special judicial branches—including both prosecution offices and courts—would be established in provincial justice departments to urgently and exceptionally handle cases related to agents of the Zionist regime.
Jahangir continued: In terms of judicial oversight, it was mandated that prosecutors implement the necessary measures to maintain economic security and protect matters related to the public’s essential needs, in order to prevent any possible market disruptions.
He further noted: During the same meeting, provincial chief justices presented reports on recent extraordinary judicial measures taken over the past week regarding incidents involving agents of the Zionist regime. For example, in Bushehr province, it was reported that 10 cases linked to agents of the Zionist regime had been initiated following swift public action, and the suspects in those cases were identified and arrested.
Jahangir also said: In Kermanshah province, due to the timely involvement of local residents and their cooperation with intelligence, law enforcement, and judicial authorities, three individuals were arrested on espionage charges, one of whom is a national of a European country. From the other two suspects, a significant number of SIM cards and large sums of cash were confiscated, allegedly connected to foreign elements.
The Judiciary spokesman emphasized: In another province, intelligence and security agents identified a safe house where five terrorists were preparing for operations in Tehran. Four were arrested, while one committed suicide during the arrest. Valuable intelligence and documents were obtained from the cell.
He concluded: These developments show that with the timely presence of the people and their cooperation with the country’s military, law enforcement, intelligence, and judicial authorities, we can swiftly identify, arrest, and decisively deal with the small number of traitors and collaborators who serve the Zionist regime.
