Zionists try to save Weizmann Institute data after devastating Iranian attack

In this regard, Roi Ozeri, vice president of the Weizmann Institute, said: "We have made every effort to be able to save a significant amount of our test results and samples."
He estimated the damage to the Weizmann Institute at $300 to $500 million.

The Times of Israel website reported that the Iranian attack completely destroyed two buildings at the Weizmann Institute and that several other buildings were also damaged.
In the early hours of Sunday, an Iranian missile targeted the Weizmann Institute of Science in the city of Rehovot.
The Yedioth Aharonot newspaper had previously reported on the situation at the institute, publishing images of it, and wrote: The attack caused heavy damage to the research infrastructure of the Weizmann Institute, including the complete destruction of some laboratories, the destruction of specialized equipment, and the halting of medical research on the eve of clinical trials.
Professor Eldad Tsakhur, a heart disease researcher, said: “Our laboratory was completely destroyed. It was as if we were in the middle of a movie. Three floors had completely collapsed.”
Professor Liran Shalush, a physician and head of the Weizmann Institute’s medical school, also announced that laboratory equipment and raw materials had been destroyed and that it was not possible to continue research at the moment.
Other researchers have also spoken of irreparable damage to biological samples, custom-made devices, and valuable physical information, damage that would require extensive time and resources to replace.
