Iran-Europe talks in Geneva; Iranian delegation: Iran has not left the negotiating table and these talks are not the end of the talks

Iran Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and the Iranian delegation entered the negotiations in Geneva to consult with the Foreign Ministers of the United Kingdom, France, and Germany and the European Union representative.
The first round of talks was held with a respectful and serious approach that included the views of all parties.
What was emphasized was that only by stopping the aggression can the path of diplomacy be opened based on an honest process.
The Iranian delegation emphasized that Iran has not left the negotiating table and these talks are not the end of the talks. Iran’s previous five rounds of talks with the E3 indicate Iran’s determination to maintain the channel of dialogue.
Statement by Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, after talks with the Foreign Ministers of three European countries and the European Union's Foreign Policy Representative
Today, we met and talked with the Foreign Ministers of the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, and the High Representative of the European Union in Geneva.
1- In this meeting, the Islamic Republic of Iran expressed its serious concern over the three countries' failure to take action to condemn the Zionist regime's act of aggression, and it was emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran will continue to exercise its right to legitimate defense against this regime with the aim of stopping the aggression and preventing its repetition seriously and resolutely.
2- It was also emphasized that Iran's nuclear program is peaceful and is under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency. Therefore, an attack on Iran's peaceful nuclear facilities is considered a major crime and a serious violation of peremptory norms and international law. In this context, serious concern and criticism were expressed about the lack of condemnation of these attacks by the three countries and the European Union.
3- If the aggression is stopped and the aggressor is held accountable for the crimes he has committed; Iran is ready to consider diplomacy. In this regard, I have stated clearly and transparently that Iran’s defense capabilities are non-negotiable.
4- We welcome/support the continuation of dialogue with the three European countries and the European Union and announce our readiness to meet again in the near future.
