Araghchi: The enemy cannot force us to accept its demands

Seyed Abbas Araghchi, our Minister of Foreign Affairs, said about the attack by the Zionist enemy on the IRIB building: “This really shows the height of cowardice — when they are unable to succeed on the real battlefield, they try to destroy a defenseless institution whose only mission is to speak the truth and illuminate the facts.”
He added: “All their talk about freedom of expression cannot mask their inability to accept the fact that Iran’s state media can portray the reality of the battle. Resorting to attack a civilian institution, which is not a military target but a center for enlightenment, is a cowardly act and a sign of desperation.”
Araghchi continued: “They thought that if they assassinated our commanders or attacked some of our centers, the Islamic Republic would become weak and quickly raise its hands in submission. This is very strange; they have not yet gotten to know the Iranian nation. We fought for eight years and successfully defended ourselves, and the Iranian nation stood firm in the face of all pressures and sanctions.”
He stated: “How can one think that a nation can be forced to abandon its rights and its land just by causing a commotion? They saw that in practice, their attacks fell flat, and our armed forces immediately filled the gaps, demonstrating their 100% readiness.”
The Minister of Foreign Affairs also said: “The more I see this, the more I remember a quote from Imam [Ayatollah Khomeini] who said: ‘Every time a standard falls from the hands of a commander, there is another strong commander who picks up that standard.’ We have truly been a witness to this — strong commanders stepped forward, raised the fallen standard, and continued to defend the country, delivering effective blows to the enemy.”
Araghchi stressed: “The enemies must realize that, from a military perspective, they cannot reach a solution or force the Iranian nation to submit to their demands.”
At the end, the Minister of Foreign Affairs said: “I warmly congratulate the brave and dedicated staff of the state broadcasting service for their strong resistance and for keeping their network up and running. This is a matter of great pride for us.”
