Russian Media: Gates of hell opened on Israel

Since the onset of the Zionist regime’s military aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, these media outlets have published numerous reports on the dimensions of the attack, citing experts and analysts who described it as a violation of the UN Charter and a terrorist act. They also widely covered the Russian Foreign Ministry’s statement strongly condemning Israel’s attack on Iran.

TASS published an article by Konstantin Machulsky titled: “‘Gates of Hell’ Opened on Israel Following Iran’s Response to Widespread Attacks.”

The Russian analyst stated: “On Friday evening, Iran launched retaliatory actions against Israel, firing several missiles at Tel Aviv, with multiple missiles directly hitting targets, including an Israeli military headquarters.”

The report, citing Arab and Western news sources, noted: “Iran’s attacks were carried out in waves, and eyewitnesses reported that after the third wave, Israel’s air defense systems were effectively disabled.”

Moskovsky Komsomolets, a widely circulated Moscow newspaper, wrote: “In Tel Aviv, around 9 p.m. on Friday, sirens began to sound, and phones in Tel Aviv rang with urgent warnings.”

The newspaper added: “Half an hour later, the sounds of explosions and missile defense systems firing engulfed the entire city, with the blasts of several Iranian missile warheads hitting their targets.”

The newspaper continued: “Despite claims by the Israeli military spokesperson that most Iranian missiles were intercepted or missed their intended targets, available information indicates that several missiles penetrated Israel’s multi-layered defense.”

Sputnik reported on the start of Operation True Promise 3, stating: “Iranian media showed footage of Iranian missiles being launched following a speech by Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei addressing the nation about punishing Israel for its grave mistake of attacking Iran.”

The Russian outlet noted: “The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps reported that the operation, named ‘True Promise 3,’ targeted dozens of objectives, including military centers and airbases in Israel.”

Rossiyskaya Gazeta, in a report by Maxim Makarychev, highlighted the headline: “Iran Retaliates.”

The newspaper wrote: “On Friday evening and Saturday morning, the sounds of explosions were heard over major Israeli cities.”

RIA Novosti reported: “Iran’s IRGC announced Operation ‘True Promise 3’ targeting dozens of Israeli military objectives.”

The Russian state media outlet stated: “The IRGC, in a statement, announced that in response to Israel’s aggression and violation, it executed Operation ‘True Promise 3’ targeting dozens of objectives, military centers, and airbases in Israel.”
The outlet also cited the Iranian Army, reporting: “Two Israeli F-35 fighter jets and several micro-drones were successfully destroyed.”

The Russian-language news outlet wrote: “Iranian media reported that several projectiles hit the building of Israel’s National Security Ministry, and according to the IRGC, in the next wave of strikes, Iranian missiles struck designated targets in Israeli military facilities.”
