Kamalvandi: Limited damage caused to some areas in Fordow

In an interview following the Israeli regime’s attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities, including the Fordow enrichment site, Kamalvandi said that the Fordow enrichment site experienced limited damage to certain areas.
Regarding the Natanz enrichment complex, he noted: “Today, we faced several attacks in Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan. The part damaged in Natanz is mostly surface-level facilities, as the majority of the installations are underground. We had a minor leak inside that did not spread outside. The public can rest assured that there is no issue there.”
On the Fordow site, Kamalvandi added: “In Fordow, the areas that were attacked did not sustain significant damage. In Isfahan, there were a few attacks on warehouses that caught fire. Since we had anticipated this and transferred most of the equipment and materials out in advance, the damage was not extensive, and there is no concern regarding contamination.”
The spokesperson for the Atomic Energy Organization stated: “Thankfully, none of the facilities reported any loss of life. We assure the noble people that while there have been other instances where the nuclear industry has been damaged, we have rebuilt far better. With our capabilities, technology, resources, and motivated, specialized human resources, God willing, this will be compensated.”
