Khaby Lame, a globally famous TikToker, was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
According to France 24 and Financial Express, ICE authorities announced on Saturday that Khaby Lame, the world’s most-followed TikToker, was arrested.
The report states that the 25-year-old Italian citizen of Senegalese origin was detained on June 6, 2025, at Las Vegas airport for violating immigration laws but was granted voluntary departure.
ICE stated that Lame had overstayed his visa and left the United States on the day of his detention.
Khaby Lame, with 162.2 million followers, holds the top rank on the social media platform TikTok.
Lame is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
