American Oscar winner accused of sexual misconduct

Jared Leto, an American actor and musician with a history of winning an Oscar, has been accused of sexually harassing women and girls.
According to The Independent and The Guardian, Jared Leto faces allegations of sexual misconduct from multiple women, including inappropriate behavior toward women, such as teenage girls.
The 53-year-old American actor has faced repeated accusations of sexual abuse against women and girls in recent years.
In a new revelation, nine women have accused Leto of sexual misconduct.
A significant number of these nine new complainants claimed they were victims of Leto’s inappropriate behavior during their teenage years and while underage.
The Air Mail report, titled “The Cult of Leto,” suggests these allegations have been an “open secret” in the entertainment industry, supported by earlier claims like a 2018 tweet by actor Dylan Sprouse questioning Leto’s messaging of young models and a deleted 2015 post by director James Gunn.
Leto’s representatives have denied all allegations, stating his communications were neither sexual nor inappropriate and noting that he has not used drugs or alcohol for over 35 years. No criminal charges have been filed, and no civil suits have been reported as of June 8, 2025. Leto has not personally commented on the allegations
