U.S. prevents Lebanon’s reconstruction

In an interview with Mizan, Hassan Fazl Allah stated: “The U.S.’s interventionist approach in Beirut and its brazen efforts to eliminate the resistance from Lebanon’s equations are no secret. The recent U.S. obstructions to Lebanon’s post-war reconstruction (following the recent war) are a clear indication of this broader policy. Neither Washington nor any other actor can remove the resistance and Lebanon’s popular movement from the country’s power dynamics. The resistance is deeply rooted in the culture and identity of a significant portion of our citizens, as evidenced by the public’s support for resistance movements.”
The Lebanese parliamentarian further asserted: “U.S.-aligned figures in Beirut, by following America’s anti-Lebanese policies, have positioned themselves against the people and the country’s reconstruction in the post-war era. These individuals and proxies would do well to reconsider their shameful and unjustifiable approach.”
