Iran has effectively resisted the United States

Samir Ayoub, a regional affairs analyst, told Mizan: "The U.S. initially made threats regarding attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities, but Iran's resolute and clear stance ultimately led to the arrangement of the Muscat negotiation table. This stems from Tehran's seriousness and wisdom. Iran succeeded in overcoming this atmosphere of threats. In the recent negotiations, Iran has firmly demanded that the U.S. lift economic sanctions against Tehran and abandon its threatening rhetoric and approach toward Iran."
The Russia-based analyst added: "The Donald Trump administration has generally faced frustration in its foreign policy and has been unable and unsuccessful in many of the plans and strategies it outlined upon entering the White House. Under these circumstances, the likelihood of a nuclear agreement between the parties has increased."
