IAEA’s alleged report on Iran’s increased enriched Uranium stockpile

The IAEA released an alleged report concerning Iran’s nuclear activities. The report claims that Iran has expanded its stockpile of uranium enriched to near weapons-grade levels and has called on Tehran to immediately change its course and comply with the agency’s investigations.
The IAEA’s alleged report states that, as of May 17, Iran’s stockpile of uranium enriched to 60% has increased compared to the agency’s last report in February. The report further claims that this level is only a short technical step away from the 90% enrichment required for weapons-grade uranium.
This alleged report comes after Esmail Baghaei, the spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that regarding the comprehensive report at the upcoming IAEA Board of Governors meeting, Iran expects the Director General to carry out duties impartially, free from the influence of certain parties. He noted that the IAEA’s approach and role impact bilateral cooperation and prevent future misuse.
Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, recently said: “We hope the IAEA will end its susceptibility to Zionist influence and adopt a professional approach. With the actions taken and adjustments made, we aim to take steps toward resolving the two remaining issues.”
Eslami emphasized that Iran’s nuclear industry is entirely peaceful and fully under the IAEA’s continuous oversight, stressing that there has never been any lack of transparency in Iran’s nuclear program throughout its history.
He added, expressing hope that the IAEA would maintain its independence: “Iran’s nuclear industry and enrichment are a red line for the country.”
