Head of Judiciary: Zionist atrocities in Gaza, supported by the U.S., are a historical shame for humanity

According to the Judiciary’s Media Center, Mohseni Ejei, on Monday, May 26, 2025, during a speech at the Supreme Council of the Judiciary, addressed the ongoing brutal crimes of the savage Zionist regime in Gaza, stating: “The savage and barbaric crimes of the Zionists in Gaza, supported and backed by the United States and some other Western governments, alongside the silence and inaction of Arab and Islamic countries and international organizations, are a historical shame for humanity. The regrettable aspect of this issue is the normalization of these crimes and the reduced sensitivity toward them, even among global public opinion and media. Here, we must salute the Leaders of the Revolution, who have consistently warned and continue to emphasize that as long as the cancerous tumor of Zionism continues its disgraceful existence, crimes and massacres will persist, as brutality is intertwined with the nature of the accursed Zionist regime.”
The Head of the Judiciary asserted: “The Americans, who these days are fully supporting the Zionists’ crimes in Gaza, have historically proven that they are utterly untrustworthy, and one should not be deceived by their smiles or those of any other imperialist power. However, today, the domineering U.S. president and other officials of his administration, out of necessity and desperation, acknowledge and confess to the power of Islamic Iran. This power of ours, which even the enemy acknowledges, stems from the presence of the Leader of the Islamic Republic, who is our guide and steersman. For this reason, the greatest attacks from malevolent, arrogant powers and their lackeys have always targeted the pillar of our system, the Leader. We are grateful to God for the blessing of his leadership.”
Referring to the need for diligent follow-up on the Shahid Rajaei Port incident, the Head of the Judiciary stated: “The explosion at Shahid Rajaei Port caused significant material, human, and, in some cases, reputational damage. Therefore, my firm and reiterated directive to all competent judicial authorities, whether in Hormozgan Province or at the central level, particularly in the Prosecutor General’s Office, is to thoroughly and diligently investigate and address the case of anyone, at any level, who was negligent or at fault in this incident. They must not allow this matter to fade with time, resulting in a resolution six months or a year later. Instead, they should resolve this issue as quickly as possible with utmost precision to ensure deterrence and alleviate the pain of both the victims and the general public, who have been distressed by this incident. Additionally, relevant judicial authorities should provide necessary cooperation and guidance to security, intelligence, and law enforcement agencies to fully clarify all aspects of this explosion.”
Addressing fuel smuggling cases, the Chief Justice noted: “It is absolutely unacceptable that a country with a critical need for fuel reports gasoline and diesel smuggling amounting to $15 billion or more! The Judiciary has taken action on this matter, even though some aspects are not directly within our responsibilities. Nevertheless, we have diligently engaged in this issue from the perspective of combating corruption and upholding public rights. I firmly and repeatedly emphasize to competent judicial authorities not to show any leniency or oversight in investigating and addressing fuel smugglers’ cases, especially since it has been established that some individuals involved in fuel smuggling, contrary to certain propaganda and claims, are not from the underprivileged class but possess significant wealth. Furthermore, if any system officials are complicit or assist smugglers in fuel smuggling cases, they will face severe legal consequences, and there will be no leniency or concessions, for instance, due to past services they may have rendered.”
