Putin survives Ukrainian drone attack

The commander of the air defense in the Kursk region announced that the helicopter carrying Russian President Vladimir Putin was at the center of a large-scale Ukrainian drone attack, but defense forces successfully repelled it.

Russian military sources reported a massive drone attack targeting the helicopter carrying President Vladimir Putin during his working visit to the Kursk region.
Yuri Dashkin, commander of one of the regional air defense units, told Russia 24 television on Sunday, “The president’s helicopter was practically at the center of the operation to repel a massive enemy drone attack.”
He added that the attack was successfully thwarted, and the president’s security was fully ensured.
Russian journalist Pavel Zarubin also confirmed that Ukrainian armed forces continued their attacks on the region while Putin was present in Kursk.
