Dismissal of Yair Golan after his remarks on child killing in Gaza

Israel Katz, the War Minister of the Israeli regime, stated in a statement that Yair Golan “made a blood libel against Israeli army soldiers by accusing them of killing Palestinian children as a form of entertainment.”
The war minister announced Golan’s removal from his position in the military institution as a reserve general. He added, “I have decided to issue orders to the army to refrain from calling Golan for reserve duty henceforth and to prevent him from wearing the army uniform or entering military bases.”
Katz stated that Israel’s enemies exploit Golan’s remarks to pursue Israeli soldiers worldwide and take them to international courts for their arrest. He emphasized that he would not allow this to happen during his tenure as War Minister.
