UK announces readiness to sanction Israeli Regime cabinet ministers

David Lammy, the UK Foreign Secretary, condemned the “horrific” demands by Israeli cabinet ministers regarding the cleansing of Gaza, describing them as extreme and radical.
According to The Times, he also stated that the Zionist regime’s refusal to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza is contrary to the principles and values of the British people, accusing Benjamin Netanyahu’s government of isolating Israel from its friends and partners worldwide.
London plans to impose sanctions, alongside other countries, on Bezalel Smotrich, the Israeli regime’s Finance Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, the security minister, and Yisrael Katz, the war minister.
The UK Foreign Secretary’s remarks represent the strongest and most severe condemnation by the UK of the Zionist regime since the onset of the Gaza war in 2023.
Lammy stated that the Zionist regime’s blockade of food and humanitarian aid to Gaza constitutes a serious violation of international law.
In September, London suspended some arms sales to Israel.
