Norway announces potential sanctions against Tel Aviv

Jonas Gahr Støre, Norway’s Prime Minister, stated explicitly that his country may consider measures, including sanctions, against the Zionist regime.
According to Al Jazeera, he added that these sanctions could target activities related to settlement expansion, certain individuals, or Zionist goods.
Støre warned about the dire humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, stating: “Famine and death pose a severe threat to newborn infants in this region.”
He also described the Zionist regime’s actions in blocking humanitarian aid and forcibly displacing residents as a “clear violation of international law,” emphasizing that this must stop immediately.
The Norwegian Prime Minister further announced that his country, in coordination with France, the UK, and Canada, has taken steps to address the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza and stressed the need for collective action by the international community to end this situation.
