Cancellation of additional Harvard university funding

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced it is terminating $60 million in federal grants to Harvard University due to allegations of antisemitism.
According to Reuters, the department stated in a post on the social media platform X that it is ending multiple financial grants to Harvard University because of the university’s continued failure to address issues of antisemitic harassment and racial discrimination.
In recent weeks, the U.S. government has halted federal funding and contracts to the university worth approximately $3 billion.
Harvard University has not yet responded to this news.
Previously, the U.S. Department of Education also announced that it would suspend billions of dollars in future research funding for the university until it complies with certain government demands.
