Martyrdom of Yahya Sinwar’s brother
Zakaria Sinwar, a professor of contemporary history at the Islamic University of Gaza, was martyred last night along with his three sons in an Israeli airstrike that targeted their tent in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
According to Al-Masirah network, Zakaria was a prominent academic figure in Palestinian higher education, previously serving as a professor in the history department at the Islamic University, with well-known scientific and research contributions.
Simultaneously, the Saudi network Al-Arabiya, citing its sources, claimed that the body of Mohammed Sinwar, another brother of Yahya Sinwar, was found along with 10 other comrades inside a tunnel in Khan Younis, located in the Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, in today’s Israeli regime attacks on the Gaza Strip, 125 people have been martyred so far. Fifty were martyred in attacks on Khan Younis in southern Gaza, 55 in Gaza City and northern Gaza, and 20 in central Gaza.
The Director-General of the Gaza Health Ministry told Anadolu that 153 Palestinians were martyred in the past 24 hours due to extensive Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
According to an Al Jazeera correspondent, five journalists were martyred in Israeli attacks on homes in the Gaza Strip.
On the other hand, Marwan al-Sultan, the director of the Indonesian Hospital in Gaza, announced that the hospital is unable to provide any services in northern Gaza.
He said: “Israeli warplanes targeted the intensive care unit. The hospital is completely besieged, and anyone who moves inside it is targeted.”
Marwan al-Sultan added: “The situation is catastrophic, and some hospital staff have lost their loved ones. International institutions must exert pressure to allow our staff to operate.”
He stated: “Only patients and medical staff are in the hospitals, so why are the occupiers targeting them? Between 100 and 200 people are martyred daily in the Gaza Strip, and the world remains silent.”
