Execution by lethal injection carried out in Florida
The fifth execution in the state of Florida, USA, by lethal injection this year was carried out.

The death penalty for 62-year-old prisoner Glen Rogers was executed on Thursday local time in Florida, USA.
According to The Hill, Rogers’ execution was performed via lethal injection.
Rogers had confessed to the murder of 70 people but later retracted his statement.
Rogers’ execution marks the fifth death penalty carried out in Florida in 2025.
Another execution is scheduled for June.
According to plans, 25 death penalties are set to be carried out in the United States in 2025; however, it is expected that the number of executed death sentences will increase.
