Head of the Judiciary: We must counter the enemy's psychological operations

According to the Judiciary's Media Center, Mohseni Ejei, speaking at the 28th National Conference of Faraja Commanders, Deputies, and Senior Managers, expressed appreciation for Faraja's efforts and said: "Faraja, like the Judiciary, is a refuge and shelter for the people, and therefore, it must increasingly gain the public's trust. Today, people trust the police, and this trust must be valued and further strengthened. Our system is fundamentally established to implement divine directives with the people at its core. All our missions and concerns are focused on the people, their peace, and their security. Both we in the Judiciary and you in Faraja must increasingly utilize public participation in fulfilling our duties and expand platforms for engaging public involvement."
The Head of the Judiciary, pointing to similarities and shared responsibilities between the Judiciary and Faraja in certain mission areas, stated: "The relationship between the Judiciary and Faraja is close and extensive, not only because Faraja is a general agent of the Judiciary but because both institutions strive to achieve justice and Islamic values, working to uphold people's rights and maintain order in society. Both the Judiciary and Faraja have specific and similar responsibilities in crime detection, identifying offenders, and addressing visible crimes. We must enhance our level of interaction and share the valuable experiences gained in executing our responsibilities more extensively."
The Head of the Judiciary emphasized: "The diversity and multiplicity of Faraja's missions are unparalleled in some cases. Therefore, appropriate funding, equipment, and authority must be allocated to Faraja in proportion to these diverse missions, and all branches of government bear responsibility in this regard."
He added: "Faraja's responsibilities involve particular subtleties, and thus, it may be necessary to review the structures, laws, and regulations related to this force in accordance with current requirements. There may be a need to revise some regulations and rules to align with the demands of the time and modernize the responsibilities of the Judiciary and Faraja's missions."
The Head of the Judiciary stated: "Both we in the Judiciary and you in Faraja are bound by higher-level documents and announced policies, but we need to review and update our methods and tactics. We also need to redefine certain concepts. The police must undoubtedly be authoritative, but we need to define this authority and seriously examine and refine the methods to achieve and enhance it. Issues such as protecting people's privacy and secrets also fall within this scope—an area where the Judiciary and Faraja can interact and exchange information."
Mohseni Ejei noted: "The Faraja Commander proposed forming a joint working group between this institution and the Judiciary to equip the forces. However, I emphasize that due to the similarities in our missions, multiple working groups should be established between the Judiciary and Faraja. We are ready to form separate joint working groups with Faraja in areas such as 'drafting and amending laws in line with current needs,' 'joint training,' 'preventing mission overlap and enhancing resource synergy,' and so forth."
The Head of the Judiciary said: "Neither we in the Judiciary nor you in Faraja should ever fear rumors or media and virtual space manipulations. We must implement laws within the country with authority and in line with the people's interests and strive in this path."
He asserted: "Today, the enemy heavily relies on psychological operations to undermine our authority. We must counter the enemy's psychological operations. These operations are not neutralized solely with hard power; sometimes, timely and accurate information dissemination, clarification, and transparency for the people can neutralize the enemy's costly psychological operations. Therefore, we must be diligent in the jihad of clarification and transparency with the people, increase inter-institutional coordination and synergy, and ensure that conflicting interpretations or perspectives from two institutions regarding an event do not allow the enemy to exploit these differences for its malicious purposes."
The Head of the Judiciary stated: "Faraja is an outstanding and impactful force in preserving people's privacy and secrets, which hold great value in Islam. Faraja combines compassion and authority. It is kind and compassionate with the people while dealing firmly and authoritatively with those who disrupt public security."
The Chief Justice emphasized: "Faraja is an institution with extensive and close connections with various state entities. Therefore, we must devise and develop cohesive mechanisms so that Faraja and relevant institutions in its mission areas can complement each other in responsibilities and missions and maintain continuous exchange of information and experiences."
