Zionist regime summons Spanish ambassador

The Zionist regime’s Foreign Ministry announced that it summoned the Spanish ambassador in protest of what it described as “dangerous statements” by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez against the regime.
According to the Al-Nashra website, Sánchez, during a parliamentary session in Madrid, responded to a lawmaker’s question about whether Spain conducts trade with a party like Israel, which commits genocide. Without explicitly naming the Zionist regime, he stated: “We do not engage in trade with a party that commits genocide.”
Tensions between the Zionist regime and Spain have been strained since Spain, along with Ireland and Norway, recognized the State of Palestine on May 28, 2024. Additionally, Spain has emerged as one of the European Union countries most critical of the cabinet of Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in recent months.
In a brief statement, the Zionist Regime’s Foreign Ministry announced that the Spanish ambassador will visit its headquarters in occupied Jerusalem on Thursday.
