US ambassador’s claim: Trump ordered aid delivery to Gaza

Mike Huckabee, the US Ambassador to occupied Palestine, stated on Friday that “Donald Trump,” the US President, issued an order for humanitarian aid to be sent to Gaza due to fears of a humanitarian disaster.

Huckabee explained, “Trump wants food to be distributed in Gaza safely and efficiently. Israel will not have a role in distributing aid to Gaza, and its involvement will be limited to security aspects.”

According to Reuters, he described famine and starvation as the greatest dangers in the Gaza Strip, adding, “There will be 400 distribution points for aid. Several parties have agreed on a mechanism for aid distribution in the Gaza Strip.”

The American diplomat said, “Private security companies will ensure the safety of workers and the distribution of food in the Gaza Strip. We will strive to gradually increase the level of aid to cover all residents of the Gaza Strip.”
