Netanyahu’s advisor arrested in Qatar Gate scandal

According to Israel’s Channel 7, Jonatan Urich, an advisor to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, was arrested again on Thursday after being questioned the previous day for his involvement in the "Qatar Gate" case.
The Israeli media outlet reported that the Supreme Court will hold a session on Thursday to discuss extending Urich’s house arrest.
Additionally, i24NEWS reported that a former Mossad officer was also arrested as part of this affair.
Channel 7 stated that the police decision to rearrests Urich was made shortly before his release from house arrest.
The outlet added that police informed Urich’s family early Thursday morning that the investigation and questioning had concluded, but the decision was made to arrest him again.
According to the Israeli media, on Wednesday, in addition to Urich, Eli Feldstein, a senior advisor and former military spokesperson for Netanyahu, was also questioned by police.
These two individuals are the main suspects and key figures in the Qatar Gate case, which involves an investigation into connections between officials in the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office and the Qatari government.
