Martyrdom of a journalist in Gaza hours after his child’s birth
Sources announced that Yahya Sabih, a Palestinian journalist, was martyred as a result of the Zionist occupiers’ bombing of the “Palmyra” intersection in central Gaza City.

According to the Palestinian news agency Sama, sources also confirmed that the journalist was martyred just five hours after the birth of his child.
Previously, a news source reported the martyrdom of Nour Abdo, a Palestinian journalist, in the bombing of the “Al-Karama” school in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood by the occupiers.
Meanwhile, the Gaza government’s media office stated that following the martyrdom of Yahya Sabih, the number of martyred journalists since the beginning of the Israeli regime’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip has reached 214.
The Gaza government’s media office strongly condemned the systematic targeting, killing, and assassination of Palestinian journalists by the Zionist occupiers, calling on the International Federation of Journalists, the Arab Journalists Union, and all journalistic institutions worldwide to denounce these systematic crimes against journalists and media workers in the Gaza Strip.
The office also held the Israeli regime, the U.S. government, and countries complicit in the Gaza genocide—such as the UK, Germany, and France—fully responsible for committing this heinous crime.
