Israeli economy on the brink of collapse

The leader of the Democrats Party in the occupied territories warned that the Israeli regime’s economy is on the verge of collapse.
Mizan -
Yair Golan, head of the Democrats Party, stated that the Israeli economy is collapsing and accused Bezalel Smotrich, the regime’s Finance Minister, of being a “minister of destruction and annexation” rather than a finance minister.
Regarding the economic situation in the occupied territories and the impact of the Gaza war, Smotrich told the Knesset (Israeli parliament) in September 2024: “We are in the longest and most costly war in Israel’s history.” He added that the cost of military operations could reach 200 to 250 billion shekels (between $54 and $68 billion).
According to Al-Mayadeen news site, Golan also criticized the Israeli regime’s cabinet, stating that it is dreaming of war in Gaza while abandoning prisoners to their fate.
