Pakistan’s renewed missile show of strength against India

Less than a day after testing a ballistic missile, Pakistan fired a new missile amid ongoing tensions with India.

As tensions between Pakistan and India escalate, raising concerns about the possibility of war, Islamabad demonstrated its military prowess against New Delhi by launching the “Fateh” surface-to-surface missile.
According to Pakistani media, the country’s army fired the missile, which has a range of 120 kilometers, during the “INDUS” military exercise. Just a day earlier, Pakistan successfully tested a surface-to-surface ballistic missile with a range of 450 kilometers.
These military maneuvers by Pakistan come in the context of heightened tensions with its nuclear-armed neighbor, India, following a recent attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, which killed 26 people, marking it as the deadliest attack on civilians in the region in the past 25 years.
