The Late Pope’s final wish for Gaza’s children

According to the Swedish television broadcast, this humanitarian initiative was proposed by Peter Bruhn, Secretary-General of Caritas Sweden, in collaboration with Anton Asfar, Secretary-General of Caritas Jerusalem, and was approved by Pope Francis.
Bruhn stated in a press release: “This vehicle will enable us to reach children who are currently deprived of healthcare services, as well as those injured or suffering from malnutrition. It is a tangible intervention to save lives at a time when Gaza’s healthcare system has almost completely collapsed.”
He added: “In reality, this is not just a vehicle; it is a message that the world has not forgotten the children of Gaza. This vehicle is a call to the rest of the world to remember them as well.”
The Pope’s vehicle will be equipped with medical equipment to provide emergency and basic healthcare services. Additionally, due to the security risks in the Gaza Strip, it will be reinforced with a protective plastic layer to shield it from shrapnel.
However, according to the organizers, the greater challenge is how to deliver this mobile clinic to Gaza, as it remains under a blockade by the Zionist regime, which has prevented the delivery of humanitarian aid for over two months.
