Dangerous plans of the Zionist Regime for the complete occupation of Gaza
According to Channel 7 of the Zionist regime's television, the political-security cabinet, after seven hours of discussion on Sunday night, approved plans to expand the scope of the war in Gaza and a new plan for delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza.
Channel 12 of the Zionist regime’s television, citing a source in the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, reported that the military plans approved by the cabinet include the complete occupation of the Gaza Strip, involving control over the territory and the transfer of Gaza residents to the south. Netanyahu explained that this plan differs from previous ones, stating, “We are moving from attacks to occupying Gaza and staying there.”
According to these reports, the meeting also discussed new operational plans to increase pressure on the Hamas movement, including a large-scale ground maneuver and entry into the Gaza Strip.
The Zionist media claimed that Israeli military forces are expected to remain in Gaza for an extended period. The initial proposal for distributing humanitarian aid to Gaza faced strong opposition from Itamar Ben-Gvir, the far-right Minister of Internal Security, who claimed that Gaza residents have enough food and insisted that Hamas’s food warehouses should be bombed, adding, “We have no legal obligation to provide them with food.”
Eyal Zamir, the Chief of Staff of the Zionist regime’s army, who opposed expanding military operations in Gaza due to risks to the lives of Zionist captives, responded to Ben-Gvir’s remarks, stating that such ideas endanger Israel’s international reputation.

According to Channel 7, under the approved preliminary plan, future humanitarian aid will be managed under U.S. and Zionist supervision through an international fund without Hamas’s involvement.
Additionally, Zionist authorities called up tens of thousands of reserve soldiers to escalate the war in Gaza. These reserve forces will be organized into battalions and integrated into ground combat units to seize the Gaza Strip.
The news outlet Walla News, citing a senior Israeli official, reported that the expansion of military operations approved by the cabinet will be implemented approximately ten days after U.S. President Donald Trump’s Middle East visit concludes. The official added that, until then, reserve forces will undergo training for the expanded operations in Gaza.
According to Walla News, the cabinet decided to make significant efforts to reach an agreement with Hamas for the release of captives before Trump’s visit to Saudi Arabia on May 13. The official stated that Israel wants Hamas to accept Egypt’s proposed plan and the proposal by Steve Witkoff, the White House representative for Middle East affairs, which involves releasing several captives in exchange for a temporary ceasefire extension.
Opposition from Families of Zionist Captives
Families of Zionist captives strongly opposed the expansion of the war in Gaza, emphasizing that this decision equates to the killing of the captives.
According to Al Jazeera, the committee representing the families of Zionist captives in Gaza stated that the political-security cabinet has decided to abandon the captives and strip Israelis of nationalism and security. The committee noted that the cabinet’s decision contradicts the will of over 70% of Zionists.
One mother of a Zionist captive stated, “The cabinet’s decision to fully occupy the Gaza Strip is a change in the war’s objectives driven solely by political motives.” She added that the cabinet’s decisions align with the positions of Ben-Gvir and Smotrich (Ministers of Internal Security and Finance) for occupying Gaza and establishing settlements there. Einav Tsingauker, another mother of a Zionist captive, said, “The cabinet’s decision to expand the war is tantamount to killing the captives.”
